The former students felt strongly a need to align themselves with appropriate organizations in the labour market both in the private and government sector to enable the transition of their skills and competence very well be integrated into the broader economy to play a meaningful and significant role with their various talents and gifts.
They certainly recognized the overwhelming gap between graduation and the real world as an obstacle of many graduates entering various filed of working environments.
The students took this great and noble initiative to government officials, head of Chap 9 institutions, CEO’s of state-owned enterprises, Cabinet Ministers and deputies, CEO’s of top both to 100 listed and non-listed companies together with private enterprises, Reserve Bank Governor, Minister of Finance during their tenure at the institution of their Al mater to address them with intention of finding possible and lasting solutions.
They were all invited to address seminars, conferences which were all organized by students to share insight and understanding about their current roles, success, failures and positioning in advancing South Africa economy and inculcating the culture of patriotism to build a strong resourced based South Africa.
The topics varied from a wide range of corporate governance, business administrations, politics, labour, International and National Trade and many more relevant topics aligned with their studies
After two decades of pursuing this great purpose, reconfigured Epitome of Black Excellence (EBE) was born to be the ‘incubation house of greatness to all people’.
